Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reorder pages in a PDF?
Upload your PDF and wait for the page previews to load. Each page shows a thumbnail with up and down arrow buttons. Use these arrows to move pages into your desired order. When you are satisfied with the arrangement, click "Save New Order" to generate the reordered PDF.
Can I see previews of each page before reordering?
Yes. After uploading your PDF, PDFArc renders a thumbnail preview of every page in a grid. You can visually identify each page before moving it to a new position.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. PDFArc processes your files entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your PDF never leaves your device — no uploads, no server storage, complete privacy.
Is there a page limit?
There is no hard limit on the number of pages. Since processing happens in your browser, very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) may take longer to render previews and save depending on your device.
How do I know which pages have moved?
Pages that have been moved from their original position are highlighted with a colored left border. You can also use the "Reset Order" button to restore the original page sequence at any time.
