Frequently Asked Questions
- What image formats are supported?
- PDFArc supports PNG, JPEG, and WebP images. WebP files are automatically converted to PNG before being added to the PDF, so the output is fully compatible with all PDF readers.
- Can I choose the page order?
- Yes. After adding your images, use the up and down arrows next to each file to rearrange them. The order in the list is the order they will appear in the final PDF.
- Are my images uploaded to a server?
- No. PDFArc processes your images entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device — no uploads, no server storage, complete privacy.
- Is there a limit on the number of images?
- There is no hard limit. Since processing happens in your browser, adding many large images may take longer depending on your device. Each file can be up to 100 MB.
- What size will the PDF pages be?
- Each page is sized to match its image dimensions exactly. A 1920x1080 pixel image produces a page of that size. The resulting PDF preserves full image quality with no compression.
